Garrison Ventures has partnered with Bluefors Syracuse (formerly Cryomech), a leading manufacturer of cryogenic systems and pulse-tube cryocoolers based in Syracuse, New York, to bring this innovative helium ISO cooldown technology to customers worldwide. Designed for operators of 10,000-gallon helium ISO containers, the system cools a vessel from ambient temperature to approximately ≈20–30 K in less than one week. By replacing the traditional liquid helium precooling process, it significantly reduces cooldown time, minimizes liquid helium consumption, lowers operating costs, and allows valuable ISO assets to be returned to service much more quickly.

For helium producers, distributors, research institutions, and end users, reducing the time required to prepare a helium ISO for service translates directly into improved logistics, lower helium losses, and greater fleet utilization. The system provides an efficient, repeatable, and fully automated alternative to conventional cooldown methods, eliminating the need to consume large quantities of liquid helium just to prepare an empty vessel for filling.
